• Guy insulators are designed to be rugged, resistant to mechanical breakage, and have zero moisture absorption.
• Holes are straight, making assembly easy even with stiff guy strand. Cable groove approaches to the hole are designed to minimize cable stresses.
• For non-critical applications such as breaking up guy wires to minimize re-radiation effects.
• ANSI class guy insulators are not recommended for primary insulation in positions next to the radiator where the full voltage is applied.
